Championship trio linked with striker
Warnock has said he wants to sign three new strikers this summer following the departures of Britt Assombalonga and Ashley Fletcher.

Hide AdChuba Akpom is the only recognised centre forward at Boro but started just three of the club’s last eight games at the end of the season.
According to TeamTalk, Boro are prepared to let Akpom leave this summer, and that Millwall, QPR, Bristol City and Charlton are among the clubs who have been approached about the possibility of taking him.
Akpom joined Boro from Greek side PAOK at the start of this season for an undisclosed fee.
Boro assessing goalkeeper options
As well as looking for new strikers this summer, Boro are also searching for a new No 1 goalkeeper.

Hide AdMarcus Bettinelli played the majority of league games for the Teessiders during the 2020/21 campaign, after signing on loan from Fulham, but is unlikely to return to the Riverside.
According to Football Insider, Boro are now plotting a move to sign QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old is out of contract next month and has been back-up to Seny Dieng for most of this campaign.
Full-back tipped for Rangers move
Finally, former Arsenal and Rangers striker Kevin Campbell says Rangers would be a good fit for Djed Spence.

Hide AdThe Boro full-back, 20, has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks, including Wolves and Everton.
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell said: “Djed Spence is a decent player and I think he has a big future ahead of him,” he told Football Insider.
“I think he would join Rangers and fit in well in Scotland. I’m not too sure what the transfer package would be because I think a few clubs would be interested.
“I think the lure of playing in the Champions League, under Steven Gerrard would be too much for him to turn down. It would be a good move for the youngster.”
